Practice Learning Qualification (Stage 2)
If you are working in the Social Care Services and support the learning and development of others then PLQ2 is the award for you.
This is a degree level qualification with 48 SCQF credit points at SCQF Level 9 (Scottish Credit and Qualifications Framework).

This year HiMATS staff attended the CALA AGM & Conference in Nairn Community Centre on Friday, 30 September and we were delighted to be amongst over 110 delegates from around the Highlands and Moray areas.
Frances Scott, Qualifications and Standards Manager for SSSC was the keynote speaker for the day and after giving her talk on 'Emerging Leadership' she assisted Sandra Tucker, Executive Manager for HiMATS with the presentation of this years PLQ2 Awards to: Norma Ruettimann, Julia McNeil, Helen Call, Lois Heavenstone, Laura Knox and Diane Stark. Well done to all!!
