Me Too! Supporting Children with Additional Needs
This blended-learning course leads to the SQA HN unit: Supporting Children with Additional Support Needs. It is designed to introduce candidates to issues relating to the provision of additional support for children 0-12years and is suitable for those in employment or wishing to gain employment in the childcare sector e.g. pre-school, out-of-school, crèche, education support, childminding, social care support etc. It is also appropriate for qualified practitioners considering working with children with additional support needs for the first time.
The course consists of:
1 full-day initial induction and training day.
3 weeks’ tutor-supported on-line learning which is designed to be interactive and fun as well as informative.
1 final day’s training and course assignment.
This course also provides an opportunity to meet others and share ideas, and experience on-line learning with the support and guidance of our on-line tutor.
